1.How can I have cavities if nothing hurts me? Even large areas of tooth decay are often hidden from view and cause no pain. The very first time you feel anything wrong with your tooth, it may have already abscessed and need more involved treatment. Dentists are trained to detect problems early, before they cause more serious problems. We will always show you where your cavities are before beginning treatment.
2. Why should I have my teeth restored now? Experience has shown that dental problems worsen with time. It's always much less costly and takes less time to fix teeth before they get worse.
3. I've had some bad experiences in the past. Will it hurt to have my dental treatment? Our entire staff has been trained to place your comfort first. We use the most advanced techniques to make sure that you have no discomfort during your visit. For the anxious patient, we have sedation dentistry available. At any time during any visit, you may stop us for any reason by simply raising your left hand.
4. Dental treatment seems awfully expensive. In fact, the costs of dental treatment has increased much less than other medical costs over the last 20 years. Given the advanced technology now employed, the high level of sterility provided by the modem office, the personal care and attention, and the predictable results of today's dentistry, dental treatment is an excellent investment in your overall good health.
5. Can I make payments for my dental treatment? Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards. We offer outside financing which charges no interest if paid in full within 90 days. For more extensive treatment we also have loan options available through Dental Fee Plan. It's often far less costly to use these credit options than to allow dental problems to worsen.
6. If I get my work done now, how long will it last? Most patients who complete the treatment we recommend will have far fewer dental problems in the future. Regular check-ups are essential to insure that new concerns are detected and corrected at an early state. Again, the earlier it is detected, the more successful the treatment will be.
7. How many visits will my treatment take? We can often treat several teeth in a single visit. Efficient treatment of your dental needs requires that all appointments be kept as scheduled. Please arrive on time for your appointments so we are able to complete the treatment that has been scheduled for that visit. This way we can minimize the number of appointments required to complete all necessary treatment.
